POIN Terms and Conditions 


All prices listed are shown inclusive of VAT and are believed to be correct at the time of access to our web-site. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. All orders placed online include delivery to mainland UK addresses only and we reserve the right to increase delivery charges should a delivery outside mainland UK arise.
All orders placed outside the UK and Eire need to be paid by BACS (Electronic Bank Transfer). Electric Gates Online's bank details are available upon request.


All goods remain the property of POIN until payment is received in full and all funds are cleared.


If no instructions are received from the customer, goods will be dispatched via our normal courier to the address given on the customer order. Due to the value of the goods, the products must be checked and signed for by the customer unless otherwise stated. By signing for the goods on inspection and not stating any damages, the customer would not be entitled to claim for damage to the goods in transit. "Unchecked" will not be accepted as a valid status.


Any installer details passed on by POIN to the customer are for assistance only and not in anyway supported or warranted by POIN.


Any items that need to be returned to POIN will only be accepted by a Returns Number. The goods must be returned to us within 21 days from signed delivery. The goods must be returned complete i.e. in the original box, not having been installed and with fixing kits and instructions. A minimum handling charge of 20% will be made for goods returned for credit and subject to our discretion.

Consumers have a statutory right to return goods within 7 days of the delivery date. A full refund will be given within 30 days. The cost of such returned goods will be at the expense of the consumer.


Any goods returned during the warranty period must be returned with an explanation of the problem along with the customers details. The goods will be repaired or replaced as necessary. However misuse or abuse of the product will invalidate any warranty. Please note that any products deemed to be faulty will be returned to POIN with postage paid by the customer. POIN will not be held responsible for any added labour costs to the customer for installing replacement products.

Warranty is covered from the date of purchase not date of installation and with the customer stated on the invoice and non-transferable to any third parties.
